CLWC tells Plymouth Building Department to reject Planning Board recommendation for a permit for 33-acre 71 Hedge’s Pond Road sand mine
December 20, 2024: CLWC’s lawyers sent a letter to the Plymouth Building Department opposing a zoning permit for the EJ Pontiff/Standish Investment/Plymouth Foundation sand mine proposed at 71 Hedges Pond Road. According to lawyers, the “unified complex” of a massive 33 acre sand mine for an alleged “unified complex” of almost 300,000 square feet of “commercial buildings” violates the Zoning Bylaw.
Local residents have a Letter Campaign asking the Building Department to reject the permit. Sign the Letter here.
The Cedarville Village Steering Committee voted 5-0 against this project. Read their letter to the Planning Board here.
