Meg Sheehan
Meg Sheehan is a co-founder of Community Land & Water Coalition, board member and officer. She is an environmental lawyer who heads CLWC’s advocacy and litigation program. Sheehan has worked in Southeastern Massachusetts on conservation and community education campaigns throughout her career. She co-founded CLWC to meet the need for grassroots engagement on issues to protect drinking water, biodiversity and community wellbeing.

Rachel Atkins
Rachel Atkins is a co-founder, board member and officer of Community Land and Water Coalition. Atkins got involved to help launch CLWC in 2021 motivated by her personal connections and passion for the environmental heritage of Southeastern Massachusetts. She grew up in Plymouth and has multigenerational family ties to the area where she enjoys the open space and history. Both sides of her Plymouth-based family have been involved in land protection and conservation for over 100 years.
Atkins’ professional background and training is in women’s health care and human resources. She has practiced as a licensed health professional and holds degrees and licenses in both public health and human resources including a Masters In Public Health.
Katherine Harrelson
Katherine Harrelson is an Environmental Analyst with Community Land and Water Coalition. Her areas of expertise include environmental monitoring, groundwater chemistry, and wetlands assessments. She holds a masters degree in Applied GeoSciences and professional certification in wetlands delineations along with 18 years experience in the environmental industry. In her role with the organization, she reviews technical documents and is most proud of her work providing the public with the resources and information to make an impact on the local level.
She grew up as a third generation Wareham summer resident and hopes that children of the future get to experience the wonder and joy of living and playing in the natural beauty of the Pine Barrens.
