On Bill to support municipal regulation of large industrial solar

The current sponsors are Paul McMurtry (11th Norfolk), Jacob R. Oliveira (Hampden, Hampshire and Worcester), Michael P. Kushmerek (3d Worcester) and Mathew J. Muratore (1st Plymouth)
What the Bill does: Senate 1319/House 2082 is An Act regarding Municipal Zoning Powers. It’s goal is to support efforts by municipalities to ensure large scale ground mounted solar projects protect our water, forests and communities. It updates Massachusetts zoning laws to address today’s challenges with siting large industrial solar and battery storage.
