Conversation About Connecting Climate, Water and Community

June 24 @ 9:30 am - 9:00 pm

Free

There will be a social hour starting at 9:30 followed by a program that will include acknowledgement of all the partners and a presentation by Dr. David Boutt on the results of the saltwater intrusion study.  David Abel, Boston Globe Reporter will speak on Covering Climate Change, A Journalist’s Perspective.  He will then interview Melissa Hoffer, Massachusetts’s first Climate Chief.  There will be a question-and-answer period.

After this formal presentation, we hope that you or another representative of your organization will be able to join us for lunch at the New World Tavern. Always nice to have an opportunity to talk informally about our work and where we might be headed.

There will be four walks/hikes offered in the afternoon.  And a film by David Abel, Entangled–The Race to Save North Atlantic Right Whales, will be shown on the waterfront in the evening.  More information will follow.
