- Why it matters: Real Estate Company EJ Pontiff is proposing to cut down forest and build solar in the Riverfront Area to Crane Brook, a Federally protected stream that drains to Buzzards Bay. This same real estate company is currently cutting down 46 acres of forest and mining 1.4 million cubic yards of sand just 200 feet from this proposal. When will the destruction end?
